Industry Risk was contracted to review current arrangements for the management of major incidents across this iconic global manufacturer, and to improve plans for managing such events. Existing arrangements required further integration and coordination. The company’s focus was on an organisation-wide approach to incident management, by taking a ‘continuum’ view of how an incident is first identified, assessed and reported.

Industry Risk reviewed internal program documentation and engaged with stakeholders to develop an understanding of context and associated cultural strengths. These strengths formed the backbone of the solution that was developed and assured that organisational change was minimised. The result was a fully integrated program where emergency and business continuity plans were merged and completely coordinated.
