This security guarding provider required the undertaking of security compliance and protective security risk assessments across four Immigration Detention Centres (IDCs). Proactive suppliers will seek assurances that their efforts continue to meet obligatory requirements and, in this case, that security risks are being identified and mitigated effectively.
Industry Risk examined obligations from the services contract, engaged with staff and observed operational conditions to identify security risks. Assessors engaged with employees within both management and client-facing environments. This risk assessment process was designed to both observe services being delivered and validate adherence to defined procedures. A detailed executive management report was issued upon completion, with the client contact commenting that it was among the best reports of its type that he had received.
